Stellar MLS Welcomes New Board of Directors and Officers

(ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL) June 14, 2019 – Stellar MLS is proud to welcome their 2019-2020 Board of Directors and Officers to lead the company’s strategic new vision.

Formerly known in the real estate community as My Florida Regional MLS, Florida’s largest MLS recently underwent a major rebrand and launched as Stellar MLS on June 4, 2019.

 

Mindy Rovillo, who represents Stellar shareholder Pinellas REALTOR® Organization, will serve as the MLS’s newly elected president for the 2019‐2020 term. Presiding over Stellar’s board of elected volunteers, Rovillo and the board will govern the operations and policies of Stellar MLS as they explore solutions that will make the lives of brokers and agents easier and keep them at the center of the real estate experience. Stellar’s volunteer leadership will also help guide the company in its expansion goals to extend their footprint inside and outside of Florida by connecting with like-minded MLS organizations and brokers.

Of her election as president of Stellar MLS, CEO Merri Jo Cowen said, “We are very excited to launch our inaugural year as Stellar MLS with Mindy Rovillo as our President. She is everything that Stellar is about — innovative, member-focused and always looking forward to the future.”

Volunteer leadership positions on Stellar’s board are more sought-after than ever, with multiple real estate professionals vying for several of the 2019-2020 officer positions this term. After a round of peer voting among the board, final officer candidates were elected, including:

• President — Mindy Rovillo, Re/Max Metro Tampa Bay
• President-Elect — Jeff Perry, Berkshire Hathaway
• Vice-President — Drayton Saunders, Michael Saunders & Company
• Treasurer  — Rick Hemenway, Crosby & Associates, Inc.
