We believe that by investing in these organizations, we can make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families and create a better future for all.

We are committed to working with our partners to identify the most pressing needs and opportunities, and to providing the resources necessary to help these organizations achieve their goals.

Stellar Cares' Priorities

Stellar Cares has identified priority areas of interest within real estate and community engagement organizations.

Housing

Affordable
Housing

Stellar Cares prioritizes initiatives and organizations that focus on creating and maintaining affordable housing. Organizations that work to provide housing assistance to low-income families, develop new affordable housing units, or preserve existing affordable housing stock.

Disaster

Disaster
Relief

Stellar Cares prioritizes initiatives and organizations that focus on disaster relief. This could include supporting organizations that provide immediate relief and/or long-term disaster recovery assistance in the aftermath of disasters.

Community

Community
Engagement

Stellar Cares prioritizes initiatives and organizations that focus on community development. This could include supporting community development corporations, investing in community infrastructure, and supporting businesses and organizations that provide community services.

Funding Guidelines

By establishing clear funding guidelines, Stellar Cares can ensure that its donations are targeted and effective, supporting organizations and initiatives that align with its goals and priorities of Affordable Housing, Disaster Relief and Community Engagement.

Eligibility

To receive funding from Stellar Cares, the recipient organization must meet the following criteria:

  • The recipient organization is a 501(c)(3) foundation.
  • The recipient organization is community or real estate related.

*Contributions are not an automatic recurring commitment to a recipient organization. Funding requests in excess of $15,000 or for a charitable organization that is not a community or real estate related foundation will be reviewed and considered by the Stellar MLS Board of Directors.

Priority Areas

Stellar Cares has identified priority areas of interest within real estate and community development.

  • Affordable Housing/Ending Homelessness Initiatives/Homeless School Children
  • Disaster Relief/Assistance
  • Community Engagement/Community Development

Donation Types

Stellar Cares is committed to providing monetary donations for general operating support, project support, etc., or non-monetary donations including care, comfort, or cleaning kits, pens, journals, etc.

Reporting Requirements

Recipient Organizations will provide regular updates on the progress and outcome of their funded initiatives.
