New customers must complete their required MLS training within 60 days of joining. If you missed the in-person MLS Easy class you will need to complete your required courses online.

All new Stellar MLS customers are required to complete the following classes* within 60 days of joining:

  1. MLS Basic
  2. Compliance 101
  3. Adding/Editing Listings.

Review your class history, sign up for classes and more by logging into your account at StellarMLS.com then click on the “Class Signup” icon.

*As an added benefit to help OCBR customers complete this requirement, we have combined all three of your required trainings into one, three-hour comprehensive class: MLS EASY. This class will be offered on March 18 and 19 in the Okeechobee area. If you are not able to attend the “MLS Easy” class in March, you will need to complete your training online within the required timeframe.

Note: You will not be able to input and/or edit any listings in the MLS until your required training is completed.

You will be able to input listings on March 26, 2019, once you have completed your required training and activated your MLS account. Your broker must also authorize your add/edit status in order for you to input listings into the MLS.

Brokers (known as Participants in the MLS) can choose how they want copyright matters handled on their behalf. There are two options as shown below.

Option 1 — Assignment of Copyright

Brokers who select the “assignment” option give Stellar MLS the authority to take legal action on the broker’s behalf against any third party that uses their data without obtaining proper permission. The broker retains ownership of their data, but Stellar MLS will be responsible for any copyright matter related to that data. Brokers who chose this option will have their data included in the quarterly Copyright submission report filed by Stellar MLS to the governing copyright office.

Option 2 — License of Copyright

Brokers who select the “license” option are licensing their firm’s listing data to Stellar MLS, but do not permit Stellar MLS to pursue any action related to copyright infringements on their behalf. Choosing this option means the broker handles all copyright matters related to their firm’s listing data, and Stellar MLS will employ no efforts whatsoever to detect or hinder third parties that are not authorized by the firm to use the data.

State27homes.com is a consumer home-search site owned and operated by Stellar MLS. As a Stellar MLS subscriber you receive a free Personal URL (PURL) to share with customers and prospects that brands the website to you. To setup your PURL, click on the “State27Homes” icon on your dashboard, then click on “edit my profile.”

MLS Listings

You would have to purchase an Unlicensed Assistant account for them. They will then have the ability to enter listings via their own account. Their access level can be set by the broker to either enter listings for a single agent or for the entire office.

Broker Syndication/Listing Distribution

Stellar MLS offers several syndication options for brokers who want to distribute their listings to third-party websites. These distribution options are offered at no additional cost.

  • ListHub Publishers
  • Zillow Group (includes Zillow, Trulia, HotPads, Yahoo Real Estate, etc)
  • Realtor.com
  • Homes.com

Note: Syndication Fields in Matrix allow for syndication control of individual listings. Access this section under the Realtor Tab, then go to Listing Distribution.

As a participating broker with Stellar MLS you have complete control over which third-party portals, if any, you choose to share your listings with. If you prefer to distribute your listings, we offer several direct syndication options and access to ListHub at no extra change as part of your Stellar MLS subscription.

To review and/or change your distribution settings follow the steps below:

Direct Syndication Options: Zillow Group and Homes.com
  • Login to your Stellar MLS dashboard at StellarMLS.com.
  • Go to the Publishers section in the sidebar and click “Clareity Direct Connect.”
  • From there you will be prompted to review and complete steps to distribute to Zillow Group and/or Homes.com.

Based on board participation, your listings will automatically be distributed to Realtor.com. In order to opt-out of this, you can manage it on a per listing basis through listing input or on the office level by contacting admin@mfrmls.com

  • Visit ListHub.com.
  • Login or sign up for your ListHub account here.
  • Click the "Publishers" tab. Publishers can be chosen individually or all at once.

To add a publisher, click the “Publisher Choices” sub-tab, choose your filter options, manually check the boxes next to your desired publishers, then click the "Add Selected" button.

To add all publishers in the network and any newly added publishers in the future, click the "Publishers Choices" sub- tab, then select the "Maximum Marketing" button.

To remove publishers from syndication, click on the "Publishers" tab and then the "My Publishers" sub-tab. Check the boxes next to those publishers that you wish to remove and click the "Remove Selected" button.

Your Stellar MLS billing cycle will run from June 2019 to May 2020. Invoices will be posted directly to your account in early April. A billing notice will be emailed to you once your invoice has been posted to your account. We do not send invoices through the postal service or via email. You can review your invoice and pay online by logging in at StellarMLS.com.

Your annual invoice is due:

  • May 15, by 5:00 p.m., to avoid a $50 late fee.
  • June 3, by 5:00 p.m., to avoid a $125 reinstatement fee.
  • Online payment is the best method to pay. Login to StellarMLS.com to make a secure, online debit/credit card payment.
  • Checks are payable to Stellar MLS (We do not accept checks over the phone or online). Include your MLS ID number on the check and mail to:

Important Note about Check Payment:  Check payments can take up to nine days (due to mailing time) for complete processing. If paying by check, it must be received in our office by 5:00 p.m. on the due date to avoid additional charges.
